Our Goal


CHS Robotics is a nonprofit FIRST Robotics Team (#2473) founded in 2007 that allows high school students to experience an advanced robotics program through participation in the FIRST robotics competition. Our mission is to allow young men and women to become prepared for the highly advanced workforce of tomorrow.


It costs nearly $27,000 each year to pay for registration costs, develop our training program, and purchase parts for building our robots. Thus, the objective of our LED Initiative program is to allow our community to support our cause through the new FIRST®GREENprogram. Our lightbulbs are subsidized byGoogle. Please consider that every contribution makes a big difference in the continuation of our noble mission.

  • We will notify you when your lightbulb is ready for pickup! If you are part of the Cupertino High School Community, you/your child can pick it up from Mr. William's room (608). Please bring a proof of purchase
  • Custom pickup options can be discussed via our contact email
  • Installation instructions: use like any regular 60-75W lightbulb!
  • Enjoy 9 years of brilliant light!
